The B.C. Peace Region’s annual Wedding Show is back for its 20th year Sunday, September 24, 2017.

What’s new in 2017?

Last year the Fort St. John Wedding show broke attendance records drawing in more local and regional residents than ever before.

This year we hope to continue grow the show by moving to the Fort St. John Curling Rink.  This new location will offer more space for exhibitors and attendees. This year we plan to continue to see growth by moving to a new location and by dropping the prices for exhibitors and attendees.

The show will once again feature three fashion shows with the help of Storybook Weddings in Prince George.  Storybook will also feature a wide selection of wedding and prom dresses at the show.

Advertising & Promotion:

The Wedding Show will continue to create marketing that is targeted towards a motivated audience of newly engaged couples, their

wedding parties and families. An extensive marketing campaign including major print, radio, Facebook, online and outdoor advertising helps to bring the crowds to the show.

This year we will start an online directory of all vendors that sign up to exhibit.  This will be included at no extra cost.  This will allow you another opportunity to market your business while being connected to our show.  The directory listing will be in place for a full year from the time you sign up.

You must provide a digital copy of your logo and a one paragraph write up about your business and the services that you offer.

On top of this addition, we will also offer a large door prize to help attract ticket buyers.  The minimum value of the prize will be $1,000.  Details will be released about the prizing available in August.

2017 Exhibitor Information

This year, the event will be held at the Fort St. John Curling Rink. On top of the traditional trade show, we will also be organizing three fashions shows featuring Wedding Dresses, Brides Maid Dresses and Prom Dresses.

Based on feedback from attendees and vendors at last years event, this year we would like to give exhibitors the chance to further promote their business.  On the main stage, we will be running five 15 minute presentations on how to plan your wedding.  These presentations will be put on in between the three fashion shows, giving attendees another reason to stay in the main ballroom.  These presentations can be anything from how to organize your wedding, how to do your do your wedding invitations, to how to plan your flower arrangements.  If you would like to make a presentation on behalf your business, we will offer you a 10% off the price of your booth/table.  This is only open to the first five businesses that sign up.  A schedule and specific information will be distributed at a later date.

There are a limited number of booths and tables.

All available on a first come first serve basis.

Trade Show Info:
Date: Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Fort St. John Curling Rink in Fort St. John.
Setup time: Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Trade Show: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Booth Spaces:
– 20’x 10’ booth (custom booth sizes are available), 10’x 10’ booth and 6’ table
– Power available at additional cost
– Each booth comes with one table (8 foot table), two chairs & a white linen tablecloth.

You are required to bring your own signage, extension cords and adhesive for placing signage up. (No staples, tacks or tape).
